  • Ways to fulfill the Florida Literacy requirement:
    1. Successful completion of either:
      • POSX041 American Government; or
      • AMH020 Introductory Survey Since 1877; or
      • AMHX010 Introductory Survey to 1877
    2. AND achieving the standard score on one of the following assessments:
      • A minimum score of 60% (48/80) on the FCLE or
      • A minimum score of 4 on the AP United States History exam or
      • A minimum score of 3 on the AP Government and Politics: United States exam
    3. Alternatively, the following exams will complete both the course and the test requirements:
  • Unlimited attempts of the FCLE are allowed with a 30-day waiting period between attempts
  • No time limit on the FCLE
  • No cost to FSCJ students for the FCLE
